8. Switching B/L : We need to switch the Bill of Lading from your shipping line's agent in Mumbai at no cost to us(usually for switching of B/L, the shipping lines may(may not) charge between USD 50 to 100 and with prior consent of your shipping lines. So to say - once we receive your three original B/Ls, we surrender them to your shipping lines agent in Mumbai and get fresh three original B/Ls exchanged wherein our name comes as shipper, our customers name as consignee and the fresh date on the day of switching as the new date of B/L. This facilates us to negotiate our documents with our bankers to get money from our overseas customer.
