INTRODUCTION

Paraná Green Nursery is a producer and exporter of native South American Trees and Palm Trees.

Right from the beginning the company established itself in the export trade and is now a supplier of nurseries in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, China and USA.

Our specimen trees are adorning municipalities, resorts, country clubs, real estate developments, golf courses, farms and collector’s homes. Lately Paraná Green is also supplying large trees to local Argentine clients for the same purposes as afore mentioned.

Our team prepares large specimens according to international standards so that they arrive at destination and can be transplanted in good condition after a long journey overseas. These same standards are followed to supply our clients in Argentina.

When we select specimens for our clients we not only considered their beauty and ornamental quality but also their vigor and health so that they can be transplanted successfully.

CONCEPT

Our Nursery specializes in large plants so that our clients need not wait 10 or 20 years to achieve a fully grown park.

Our company has a commitment with the environment of our region, having multiplied many native plants from seed and at the same time carries out a program that rescues native palm trees that are being removed to free land for agriculture.

In 2002 our company was responsible for the largest rescue of native palms trees (Butia yatay) that where going be burned and removed from their natural habitat to give room for agricultural land.

The company is also working on a project named “Bosques del Futuro” (Forests of the Future) whose aim is to cultivate native hardwoods such as Cedar and Ipé and several other species that until now have been heavily extracted from natural forests.
