Shanghai Pinxing Explosion-proof Motor (Group) Co., Ltd. is a large hi-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of motors and motor control products and relevant services. Founded in 2000, the Company is headquartered at Pinxing Road of Qinggang Industrial Park in Fengxian District, Shanghai, with a total coverage of 70,000 km2. The Company currently is staffed with 500 people, among whom 20 are professional and technical personnel, 10 with middle or senior professional titles (including 5 senior engineers), and 2 are awarded with special allowance from the State Council and the title of Expert with Outstanding Contribution. As the designated cooperator with Nanyang Explosion Protection Group Co., Ltd. and Jiamusi Electric Machine Co., Ltd., the Company has been engaged in the formulation and revision of concerning national standard and industry standard. Moreover, the Company has established long-term cooperation and extensive technological exchanges with noted universities and research institutions in China such as Xi’an Jiaotong University, University of Science & Technology Beijing（USTB） and CNEX. After a decade of development, the Company now owns 2 wholly-owned subsidiaries and its manufacturing bases are distributed in Fengxian District, Shanghai and Taizhou, Zhejiang.
Main products of the Company include more than 1000 varieties such as: YB2 and YB3 series of flameproof 3-phrase asynchronous motor(H80-H560,380～1140V); YBS, YBK2, YBF2, YBD2 and YBPT series of flameproof 3-phrase asynchronous motor for mining(380～1140V,H80-355); Y2, Y3, YKK, YKS, YR, YRKK and YRKS series of conventional 3-phrase asynchronous motor(H355-H1000, 380V～11KV); YAKK and YAKS series of increased safety high voltage 3-phrase asynchronous motor (H355-H1000, 3KV～11KV); YB and YB2 series of high voltage flameproof 3-phrase asynchronous motor (H355-H560, 3KV～11KV); series of low voltage and high-power motor (H355-H560, 380V～660V); T, TL and TK series of synchronous motor and TAW increased safety explosion-proof motor (3KV～11KV), etc. The Company has an annual production capability of 7 million KW and its products are widely applied in various fields including oil industry, chemical industry, textile, coal mining, metallurgy, rail transportation, hydraulic project, electric power, shipping, nuclear power, space industry and military industry, etc.

The Company has the top-grade machinery and equipment in China including CNC heavy turning machine, large floor type boring-milling lathe, large specialized keyway milling machine, CNC winder, CNC coil spreading machine, CNC tape lapper, CNC high-speed punching machine, high-pressure aluminum casting machine, intermediate frequency induction welder, machining center, automatic welding equipment, etc.. These hi-tech equipment provide reliable hardware for producing key components of motors. Besides, the Company is able to carry out various special tests including spectrum analysis, mechanical property test, ultrasonic flaw detection, magnetic particle flaw detection, dye penetrant inspection, Epstein test, etc.. Such high-end tests guarantee the quality of key components of motors. Furthermore, thanks to the advanced dynamic balancing machine, rotor over-speed testing equipment and state-of –the-art technology of vibration spectrum analysis, all the motor rotors produced by the Company are of leading balance quality in the industry. Application of the advanced V.P.I (4.5 m caliber) the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation System in the insulating treatment of motors helps motor windings to meet the high standards for heat resistance, high voltage endurance, shock resistance and corona prevention, etc. Furnished with the large-scale 4000KVA variable-frequency testing system, the Company strives to meet the international standard for testing.
